Desert King is a one-of-a-kind nature artwork crafted from foraged palm fronds, fibers, sticks, soil, leaves, and other natural materials. This piece features a Namib Desert lion of the Skelton Coast. It was brought to life through organic materials, allowing the natural beauty of the Lion to emerge through layered colors, shapes, and textures inspired by nature.
The materials were carefully arranged and secured on a repurposed wood bordered frame and sealed with matte and satin finishes to preserve the lion's beauty.

Handcrafted from materials gathered in nature and my garden — soil, sand, sticks, leaves, and botanicals. This black bear is built from earth itself, his coat shaped from soil and natural textures, pausing to enjoy a mouthful of wildflowers and meadow greens. The botanicals are naturally dried and dyed to retain their color. Every detail arranged entirely by hand. No paint. Just nature.
Because these materials can never be gathered the same way twice, this piece cannot be recreated. Ever.
